With all of the available “plug and play” options out there, you’d think this wasn’t true. But, over time, I’ve noticed that most clients already have a website that, for one reason or another, just isn’t working for them.
Expression Design Studio is here to help your brand and business decide on an effective website design strategy that includes (the often unthought-of) things like hosting, maintenance, and more.
Our goal is to work as a team with our clients to understand their website design needs and help them create a web solution to help them achieve those goals. In the process, we love seeing our clients be proud to show off their websites again!!
Once the contract has been signed, and deposit paid, we send you a list of the information we need from you. Everything from images, videos, logos, sales copy, product information, and social media information. Some clients decide to ask our help in coming up with this information and we are always happy to help.
This is where we start to design your new website using all of the information you have given us up to this point. Once you approve the design, we move forward.
We offer two standard revision times during the design process. If more are needed, just let us know. But be aware that excess rounds of review will push back your launch date.
Once the development of your website has been completed, we get together to go over everything. Depending on the design product purchased, this time may include a dedicated tutorial time on how to use, navigate, and make changes to the backend of your new website.
After all the work is done, and we have completed the website walkthrough it’s time to go live and launch your new website design! This is our favorite part, and we totally do a happy dance in the office.
YES. We work on a payment plan with most of our clients. The payment schedule is a 50-40-10 split. Which means 50% deposit, 40% payment during the build process, and the final 10% upon completion.
The time to build and design a website can vary from client to client. Extenuating factors like, the client’s budget, image and copy delivery, and other things can extend the time it takes to deliver a completed website. On average a website is usually completed in about six to eight weeks.
We ask that our clients provide us with all images, copy, and links needed to complete their website design and build. Depending on the type of website this may also include shop products, PDF’s for download or video links.
ABSOLUTELY! We keep in close contact with our clients during the entire process to make sure that you are satisfied with our work. Before any website build work begins our clients are asked to approve of our designs.
NO. While we ask that you provide some style, color, and feature inspiration so we can get an idea of what your goals are, we will not copy another website already on the internet. We are better than that and we feel our clients are too.
Don’t worry about that. We always take time to record videos for our clients on how to add new content (blog posts) and products to their shop. We know it’s a lot to learn and we’re here to help you master it. We’re also in the process of adding these video’s to our blog so you can always come back and find them.
YES. To be honest, this happens all the time. Just be aware that if you decide to add more work onto what was originally agreed upon, that will be reflected on your invoice and total amount owed.
We totally understand that it happens. We finish each contract with a 30 day grace period to allow for this. If there’s something you decide you want to change just let us know and we’ll start working on it.
